Summer Adventures
Every summer, our family embarked on adventures that led us to discover stunning cut rocks and beautiful jewelry crafted from these unique slabs. These stops became cherished moments, guiding our weekends toward exploring various rock shops. Then, an inspiring spark ignited in my father, Ken. He envisioned creating jewelry from these raw rock slabs.
Dad & His Passion
Dad delved into this passion, seeking guidance and expertise from different sources. He dedicated himself to classes, mastering the art of transforming rocks into exquisite pieces, mainly crafting oval-shaped cabs from rhodochrosite, malachite, petrified wood, and an array of agates. However, life took its course, steering him into the realms of truck driving, farming, and nurturing our family, leaving his jewelry-making dreams aside.
Fast Forward Two Decades
Dad retired, unveiling a newfound horizon to delve back into his passion for rocks.
This time, Dad joined forces with me, Vicki Lea, combining his treasure trove of finished stones with my creativity in designing and crafting jewelry. Our story intertwines our shared love for these stones and the artistry that brings them to life.
